Learn moreOur process
Four steps, start to finish
Walkthrough and count
We look at the air handler, count supply and return openings, and note anything that limits access such as a crawlspace hatch or a closet unit.
Set up and protect
Drop cloths go down at the access points, the collection unit is connected to the trunk line, and the system is placed under negative pressure.
Agitate and extract
Rotary brushes and compressed-air tools loosen debris inside each branch while the vacuum pulls it toward the collection unit instead of into the room.
Reset and review
Registers and grilles go back, access panels are sealed, and we walk the system with you before we pack up.

Equipment & scope
The tools we bring and the parts we clean
We work with negative-air collection units, rotary brush systems sized to the duct diameter, compressed-air whips for flexible branches and HEPA-filtered vacuums for the openings themselves. Access panels are cut only where a system needs them and are sealed properly on the way out.

Questions
Frequently asked
Still unsure about scope or access? Call (804) 729-0794 and we will walk through it.
How long does an air duct cleaning visit take?+
Most single-family homes in South Richmond take a few hours depending on the number of supply and return openings, the layout of the trunk lines and how accessible the air handler is. We confirm the expected window before we start.
Do you clean dryer vents as a separate visit?+
We can. Dryer vent cleaning is offered on its own or added to an air duct appointment at the same address, which usually makes better use of a single trip.
What do you need from me on the day of service?+
Clear access to the air handler, the return grilles and each supply register, plus a parking spot near the entry for the equipment. Pets are usually easier in a closed room while hoses are running.
Will there be dust in my home during the work?+
The system is placed under negative pressure while the ducts are agitated, so debris is drawn into the collection unit rather than pushed into the room. We also protect flooring at the access points.
Which neighborhoods do you serve?+
Stratford Hills, Forest Hill, Westover Hills, South Richmond, Bon Air, North Chesterfield, Midlothian, Manchester and the surrounding Greater Richmond area.
How do I get a price?+
Send the estimate form or call (804) 729-0794. Pricing depends on the number of openings, the system type and access, so we ask a few questions before quoting.
